Personal assistant

Alison is personal assistant for the Geophysical and Geodynamics laboratory.

What does your job consist in ?

My job consists in assisting the members of the lab in their administration procedures. I pass all orders for lab material, University and private contracts and assist them in preparing their business trips and scientific cruises (air ticket and hotel bookings, etc.). I basically assist them in any task they need assistance for. My mother tongue is English and I am therefore able to assist them in translation work.

What training did you have ?

I have a degree in French and I specialized in travel and tourism. I trained in the UK.
